Are you interested in exploring non-academic projects but don’t know where to start? Do you struggle understanding how to make your research “relevant” to the needs of a community, organization, or wider audience?
Using the non-academic grant application as a framework, this workshop will help you reframe your interests and skills for potential projects and partnerships. Topics will include:
- Understanding your expertise and possible contributions
- Identifying projects, collaborations, or opportunities outside academic grants
- Using the grant application to design a project
- Brainstorming possible pathways for your interests and skills
