Faculty of ArtThe 2025 cohort of our Career Design Studio for Arts Graduate Students will take place from 9am-4pm on June 2 & 3 on the UBC Vancouver campus in the Arts Student Engagement Hub, Brock Commons South (3rd floor).
We will spend our two days together in a variety of ways, including:
- An introduction to the principles of life design and an exploration of life design tools and activities
- Small group meetings with career professionals who hold Arts graduate degrees in a variety of disciplines
- Using various career exploration strategies geared to humanities and social science graduate students
- Developing skills to conduct an effective job search and support your professional development
- Sharing career ambitions, concerns, and questions with fellow Arts graduate students
The Career Design Studio is highly interactive and those who register are expected to participate fully. Seats are limited, and by registering, you’re agreeing to attend both days. Please do not register if you cannot attend and participate fully.
We hope to provide all attendees the opportunity to have a professional headshot taken at no cost to you on the final day of the Studio.
